Email automation
for the follow-up you never send
Most of a campaign’s result comes from the second and third email, and most teams never send them. Pingovo’s email automation software builds that sequence once, attaches it to any campaign, and re-sends automatically to the people who didn’t open or didn’t click.
Two segments, chosen deliberately
An automation re-sends to people who didn’t engage. Openers and clickers are a positive signal — re-sending them the same campaign is noise, so they are excluded by design rather than left as an option you might get wrong.
Non-openers
Everyone the campaign delivered to who never opened it. The classic second-chance send — same offer, different subject line, a few days later.
Opened but not clicked
People who read the email and did nothing. They are interested but unconvinced, so the follow-up is usually a different angle rather than a louder version of the same one.
Why these email automation tools stay predictable
Build once, attach anywhere
An automation is a named, reusable sequence. Build your follow-up flow one time in the Automation Center, then attach it to any campaign from that campaign’s Advanced tab.
Editing later never rewrites history
A campaign snapshots the automation’s steps at the moment you attach it. Change the sequence next month and the campaign already running keeps sending exactly what you approved.
Unsubscribes are respected automatically
Every follow-up recipient list excludes anyone who unsubscribed or complained since the original send. That is a compliance rule, not a setting you have to remember to tick.
How email automation works in Pingovo
Create the automation
Name it, choose whether it targets non-openers or people who opened without clicking, and set the time zone the schedule runs in.
Add your follow-up steps
Each step has a subject, a body, a delay measured in days from the source campaign finishing, and an optional send time of day.
Attach it to a campaign
Pick the automation from the campaign’s Advanced tab before you send. The steps are copied onto that campaign so later edits cannot change it mid-flight.
It arms itself on completion
When the campaign finishes, every step arms at once against its own offset — a three-step sequence at 0, 2 and 5 days fires on that schedule without further input.
Delays are offsets, not gaps
Every step’s delay counts from the moment the source campaign finished, so the whole sequence is armed at once and each step lands exactly where you planned it. Add a send time and a time zone and a “day 2” follow-up arrives at 9am local rather than whenever a queue happens to pick it up.

Email automation — frequently asked questions
Email automation is sending follow-up email based on what recipients did with an earlier message, without anyone building and scheduling each send by hand. In Pingovo an automation is a reusable sequence you attach to a campaign, and it fires on its own once that campaign finishes.
One of two engagement segments: everyone who was delivered the campaign but never opened it, or everyone who opened it but never clicked. Both lists automatically exclude anyone who has unsubscribed or filed a complaint since the original send.
Each step’s delay is an absolute offset from the source campaign completing, not a gap from the previous step. A three-step sequence with delays of 0, 2 and 5 days sends at completion, two days after completion, and five days after completion.
Yes. Each step can carry a send time in 24-hour format, and the whole automation runs in a time zone you choose. A step waits for both its delay and its send time before it goes out.
Nothing changes for campaigns that already have it attached. The campaign copies the sequence at attach time, so editing the automation only affects campaigns you attach it to afterwards.
