Email Campaigns
Email campaigns let you send personalised bulk emails to a verified recipient list, with open and click tracking, smart delivery controls, and detailed analytics.
Creating a campaign
- 1Go to Campaigns → New Campaign.
- 2Give the campaign a name and choose or create an email template.
- 3Add recipients — import from a completed verification job or upload a fresh CSV.
- 4Choose a sending method: Your SMTP Server or Pingovo Mail (see Sending Methods & Senders).
- 5Configure sending settings: daily limit, delay between emails, send days, and send window.
- 6Enable optional features: auto-spread across days, skip risky emails, auto-verify recipients before sending.
- 7Click Preview to review how the email will look, then Save as Draft or Send.
Campaign states
| State | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved but not yet started — can be edited freely |
| Active | Currently sending emails according to the schedule |
| Paused | Sending is halted — can be resumed at any time |
| Completed | All recipients have been processed |
| Failed | Sending encountered a critical error (e.g. SMTP misconfiguration) |
Sending controls
- Daily limit — maximum emails to send per day (default: your plan's quota)
- Delay between emails — pause between each send to mimic human sending behaviour (5–60 seconds)
- Auto-spread — automatically distribute recipients across multiple days instead of blasting all at once
- Sending window — restrict sending to specific days of the week and hours of the day
- Skip risky emails — automatically exclude risky-status recipients to protect deliverability
Tracking
- Open tracking — a 1×1 transparent pixel is injected into the HTML email body. When the recipient opens the email, the pixel is loaded and the open is recorded.
- Click tracking — all links in the email body are wrapped with a Pingovo redirect URL. When the recipient clicks, the click is recorded and they are forwarded to the original destination.
Analytics
The campaign detail page shows real-time delivery stats: emails sent, opened, clicked, bounced, and unsubscribed. You can drill into individual recipient statuses and export the full results as CSV.
