Warmup mail is cryptographically signed
Every warmup message carries a signed header with a fresh nonce, and the network acts only on mail whose signature verifies. Nothing else can impersonate your warmup traffic into the network.
It never touches your real email
If you contribute your own mailbox, Pingovo identifies warmup mail by header before it fetches anything, and reads only those messages. Your real mail is never downloaded and never marked as read.

It depends on the schedule you choose. The conservative ramp runs 30 days from 2 to 50 emails per day, moderate runs 30 days from 5 to 100 per day, and aggressive reaches 100 per day in 14 days. A brand-new domain should use conservative or moderate; aggressive is for a mailbox that already has sending history.
It works when the warmed mail is genuinely engaged with. A provider builds reputation from observed behaviour, so warmup that only delivers mail into an unattended inbox changes nothing.
