Webhooks
Webhooks let Pingovo push real-time event notifications to your server. Instead of polling the API, your endpoint receives an HTTP POST whenever a relevant event occurs.
You can configure up to 5 webhooks per account. Webhooks are available on plans with webhook support enabled.
Setting up a webhook
- 1Go to Settings → Webhooks → Add Webhook.
- 2Enter your endpoint URL (must be HTTPS).
- 3Select the events you want to subscribe to.
- 4Configure the retry policy (number of retries and delay).
- 5Optionally add custom headers (e.g. for bearer token authentication).
- 6Click Save, then use the Test button to send a sample payload to your endpoint.
Event types
| Event | Triggered when |
|---|---|
| verification.completed | A bulk verification job finishes processing |
| campaign.sent | A campaign finishes sending to all recipients |
| campaign.failed | A campaign encounters a critical sending error |
| payment.successful | A payment or credit purchase is confirmed |
| payment.failed | A payment attempt fails |
| bounce.recorded | A hard bounce is detected in a campaign |
Payload structure
All webhook payloads are JSON POST requests with the following envelope:
{
"event": "verification.completed",
"timestamp": "2026-04-06T12:00:00.000Z",
"data": {
// event-specific payload
}
}Retry policy
If your endpoint returns a non-2xx status or times out, Pingovo retries delivery according to your configured policy (default: 3 retries with exponential back-off). Failed deliveries are logged on the webhook detail page.
