Single Email Verification
Single verification is the quickest way to check one email address. Navigate to Verify → Single Verify in the sidebar.
- 1Enter the email address in the input field.
- 2Click Verify. The result appears within seconds.
- 3Review the full breakdown — status, syntax check, MX records, SMTP response, and misc flags.
Result breakdown
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| status | Overall verdict: safe, risky, invalid, or unknown |
| syntax.isValid | Whether the address passes RFC 5321/5322 format rules |
| syntax.domain | The domain part of the address |
| mx.acceptsMail | Whether the domain has a valid, reachable MX record |
| mx.records | List of MX hostnames sorted by priority |
| smtp.isDeliverable | Whether the SMTP server accepted the recipient address. Acceptance alone is not proof the mailbox exists — use smtp.mailboxConfirmed for that. |
| smtp.mailboxConfirmed | True only when the acceptance actually corroborates that this mailbox exists. False when the server accepts recipients it cannot confirm (deferred-verification gateway, catch-all, or an inconclusive probe). |
| smtp.firewallDetected | True if a network firewall blocked outbound SMTP (port 25) |
| misc.isDisposable | True if the domain is a known disposable email provider |
| misc.isRoleAccount | True if the local part is a role address (admin, support, etc.) |
| misc.isFreeEmail | True if the domain is a free consumer provider (Gmail, Yahoo…) |
| misc.hasCatchAll | True if the server accepts mail for any address on that domain |
| misc.domainTypo | Suggested correction if the domain looks like a typo (e.g. gmial.com → gmail.com) |
| misc.isHoneypot | True if the address matches known spamtrap patterns |
Single verification also saves to your Verification History — accessible from the Results section — where you can search, filter, and delete past results.
