Team & Reselling

Team & Reselling lets you share your account's credit balance and plan features with other people — invite your own staff onto your account as team members, or become a Pingovo reseller and sell plan access to your own customers as sub-users. Both live on the Team page in the sidebar.

Team & Reselling comes from an Enterprise plan that includes it. A plan can include Team, Reselling, or neither — never both — so which one you see (and what the page is titled) depends on what your plan includes. Check Billing to see whether your plan includes either.

Who it's for

  • Team — bring your own staff onto your Pingovo account so they can help verify and send, drawing on credits you send them from your balance.
  • Reselling — sign your own customers up as sub-users and sell them Pingovo access out of your credit balance, instead of them needing their own plan.

If your plan includes only one of the two, the Team page and the invite button are labeled for that one — "Reselling" and "Invite sub-user" for a Reselling-only account, "Team" and "Invite team member" otherwise. An account with both capabilities can choose per invitation.

Inviting team members

  1. 1
Go to the Team page and click Invite team member (or Invite sub-user).
  2. 2
Enter the person's existing Pingovo account email address. They must already have an account — nothing is created for them here.
  3. 3
Optionally enter how many credits to send them and a short note.
  4. 4
Send the invitation. Any credits you entered are immediately set aside from your balance — not yet given to them.
  5. 5
They see the invitation as a banner on their own dashboard and choose Accept or Decline.
  6. 6
If they accept, the credits move into their account and they become a team member (or sub-user). If they decline, withdraw the invite, or it goes unanswered until it expires, the reserved credits return to your balance automatically.

Invitations expire automatically if nobody responds (48 hours by default). If your account requires user slots, the invite form shows how many you have available and lets you buy more before you send an invite that would use your last one. The very first credits you ever send a new team member or sub-user must clear a minimum amount, shown live on the invite form — this only applies the first time; topping up someone who has already received credits from you has no minimum.

What team members get

A member's usable plan features follow the credits you've sent them, not a separate switch you flip. The Team page shows the credit thresholds in force — for example, a member's balance crossing a plan's threshold unlocks that plan's features for them automatically.

  • A member keeps the plan their credits unlock until their balance runs out — spending it all the way to zero drops them back down, and a bigger balance upgrades them straight away.
  • Sending more credits on top of a balance they still have does not upgrade them again by itself — the plan is only re-decided the next time a transfer finds their balance at zero.
  • If a member buys their own subscription, that takes over and is never overridden by credits you send them.
  • A team member's credits expire alongside your own plan at the latest — they can never outlive the account funding them. A sub-user's credits run on their own longer window instead, shown on the page when you send a transfer.

Becoming a reseller

Reselling is unlocked by an Enterprise plan with Reselling enabled — see Billing for the plans available, or contact support to discuss one. Once it's active, the Team page retitles itself "Reselling," the invite button becomes "Invite sub-user," and you invite customers exactly the way you'd invite a team member: their existing Pingovo email address, plus any credits and a note.

From the Team page you can view each sub-user's plan, credit balance, and credit usage, transfer or return credits to them at any time, and review every movement in the Credit history tab.

Removing a member

Click the remove icon next to a member's row to revoke their team access. Removing someone ends the relationship, but does not take their credits back:

  • They keep whatever credits they currently hold.
  • Their transfer history stays on record.
  • They lose the plan features your credits granted them.
  • You can no longer manage or send credits to their account.

Removal never reclaims credits. If you want their unspent credits back, use Return credits on their row before you remove them — once they're removed, any credits already sent stay with them for good.

Re-inviting someone you removed earlier picks up their existing transfer history rather than starting over, so a small top-up to a former member is treated the same as it would be for anyone else you've funded before.
